We specialize in purebred Brittish shorthair/longhair kittens coming in a variety of golden shades. Our goal is to produce healthy, beautiful and sweet tempered kittens that meet the breed standards precisely. All kittens are raised in a family, surrounded by lots of love and attention as well as abundant human contact, which helps us to learn the character of each kitten resulting in the right choice of your new family member!

My story started years back when I was looking for that perfect kitten to add to my newly growing family. I had a dream to find Scottish Fold female kitten in Silver Tabby color with beautiful owl like yellow colored eyes. I was looking and looking and I was not able to find the right one for me. Then I met Olga (she is now my partner and dear friend of mine) who offered me Scottish Straight female in golden color. It was nothing like what I was looking for, but once I saw her with those huge puppy eyes and beautiful black eyeliner around her eyes, I fell in love. I had to take her!

Since then I have been fascinated with golden luxurious look and I was digging deeper. I later discovered British shorthair breed , very similar to Scottish Straight but yet not so much. I slept with the idea to own one))). I did very thorough research and caved in. I got my very first British shorthair male kitty, Simba)))) Ever since I can not imagine my life without him. He is my soulmate , friend, and just a good friend of mine that cherish every moment.

Using my expertise, it is my top priority to satisfy customer’s expectations with the choice of an adorable and healthy kitten.

Lux Paw cattery is enclosed, meaning we will not use cats from other catteries for animal breeding and will not offer Sire service to other breeders.

Our cats(producers) are all tested for Felv/Fiv/HW and other genetic diseases such as: Porphyria, Autoimmune Lymphoproliferative Syndrome, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, Cystinuria, Dihydropyrimidinase Deficiency, PKD, Gangliosidosis, Hemophilia and many others in concatenation of 50 diseases, to produce genetically sound kittens

Our Queens deliver 1-2 times per year that ensures their recovery time and overall health as kittens and as the mother.

We choose only best European quality animals with stable psychological state for our selective breeding.

Reservation Process

Step 1

1. Once you are ready to proceed with reservation process, please fill our “Reservation Application” with answering each question carefully and thoroughly. It will affect our decision if you are a qualified candidate to adopt one of our kittens. We reserve the right to deny your application without any explanation to any given time. Any and all deposits or adoption fees will be returned in full if we refuse the process.

Step 2

2. Shortly you will hear from us back. Please allow 24 hours for response time. We might ask you some additional questions if needed.

Step 3

3. You will be required to put a non-refundable deposit of $500 (will be counted towards the total amount of the kitten) for pet, and $1000 deposit for breeding option. Instructions on payment methods will be given. Kittens are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Please keep this in mind, that kitten is considered reserved, only after deposit is received. No verbal commitments are accepted. Some additional conditions apply, please refer to the contract. Once the deposit is received for a specific kitten, you are not able to transfer it to another kitten if you change your mind.

Step 4

4. After the deposit is received you will be emailed the contract to sign, and you need to return it back within 24 hours. To get familiar with our contract you can check it out below. Either you pick your kitten for pet only or breeding purposes, different conditions will apply. Please NOTE: not every kitten can be used for breeding and not every candidate will be considered as qualified.

Step 5

5. Once your reserved kitten will be ready to go home, you can either pick up in person and pay remaining balance in CASH, or you can use our delivery services. For more information on that, please inquire within.

Step 6

6.You are free to take your new furry friend home! Going home instructions will be provided.
